ABOUT
A Detroit-based cross-disciplinary creative problem solver, designer, and educator (‘Pretty good designer and builder of things’.) His work is rooted in a conversation between architectural gestures and painterly space, and the realm of contradictions and (im)possibilities resultant.
Jake works professionally in real estate development, with a background in urban planning, commercial and multifamily architecture, asset positioning, community engagement, marketing and commercial leasing, and economic/ business development strategies. He co-owns Corktown Studios, an artist collective in Detroit's North Corktown neighborhood
